i'm listening to the new shins album that hasn't come out yet. it's awesome. in the past 2 weeks i have seen 2 of my heroes in person: wilco (jeff tweedy) and dan savage. mike has been pretty much living with me and i'm getting really comfortable with it. 2 of my friends might move up here soon. i get to go to st louis in 2 weeks. life is pretty awesome.

sooo i haven't updated in like 9000 years because ever since school started i've been busy as fuck. it's been ok becuase i get to mix it up a lot. it either darkroom or drawing or reading of some sort, which is SUCH a welcome change from bookpaperbookpaperbookpaper like the rest of my academic career. i never have any fucking free time though. i havent been drunk in WEEKS and i'm skipping class to do that tonight. possibly see the jackass movie.
so basically, this is my life:
work, class, darkroom, coffee, drawing, darkroom, mike. that's it.
i'm coming back to st louis october 20 for my dad's birthday. last time i was there it sucked a lot. hopefully this time will be less lame.
yea, that's pretty much it. i'm lame. maybe i'll post some pictures soon or something.

my new job is awesome. it doesn't involve food. HOORAY!
i made a new friend on the megabus and now i have fun people to go out with. haha, megabus.
i'm going kareokeing (NO idea how to spell that) tonight with jack and mark and i'm totally making mike go. aaahaha. it's going to be really embarassing and a fucking blast, i'm sure. jack said he would sing with me. i'm going to have to get pretty drunk to do this, but i'm really excited.
i'm excited for school to start. yea, i said it. this is my chance. i get to start COMPLETELY over doing something that i really care about. it's going to rule. i'm so glad to be done with depaul (no offense, depaul people).
so yea. things are good. i got my hair cut but nobody has noticed, haha.

some people can change all they want but never actually change. we can hang out and it will feel like we hung out last week, even though it's been months. other people just change.
fuck st louis. but infinite amounts of love to the people who make it worth it to go back to that place.

seriously, look at this cheese section. that's not even the whole thing. WI is not fucking around.
thursday i went to the L&L with schwenk and my friend NY james. i got really drunk and was super happy and had a great time. Mike showed up at around 1am. it was nice. apparently i did something really wrong because i puked for 6 hours on friday when i woke up. it wasn't fun. i went a solid 6 months without puking and it was really nice. i hope to go back to that soon.
theiss, schwenk and i had this pipe dream of going to portland in a couple weeks to see sleater-kinney's last show. ticketmaster is an asshole and prevented us from doing this. i will never see them again becuase i'l be in st louis during lollapalooza. i'm so bummed because a fucking band broke up. i'm a weirdo.
the chick in this prince song just said "your body's hecka slammin'". that is all.
